The new Yellowlane has been redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up. It validates as XHTML and CSS. Props to Douglas Bowman and Todd Dominey, whose respective sites have offered challenging inspiration and ideas as to what one could accomplish with a MovableType powered website.

Props to Douglas Bowman and Todd Dominey, whose respective sites have offered challenging inspiration and ideas as to what one could accomplish with a MovableType powered website. Sadly, I have met neither of these designers, but perhaps they'll visit and enjoy the icons soon. Hopefully they won't feel as though I've knocked them off too much, but hey—imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

Of course, one cannot fail to mention Zeldman and The Iconfactory when thanking those who have influenced the (re)design of this site.

Hopefully, in the weeks and months to come, I'll continue adding additional functionality to the site. For now this is a great start given the past year. I certainly look forward to hearing your thoughts. Let me know what you think.
