She's a work in progress, but the re-design is coming along. There are some holes here and there, and the changes are rolling in quite often right now. If you refresh in 30 minutes, chances are the background image will have changed. Again.
The buttons are a little subtler than they were last week, prominent links to IconBuffet and Firewheel encourage you to check out our corporate work (and buy some stock icons... you know you want to), Flickr pictures are up, and the Yellowlane freeware icons are ready to be consumed once again.
This post does not mark the official redesign of Yellowlane, its simply the notification that I've just about got things back online. After a lengthy hiatus, there is life brewing at Yellowane. Here's hoping that you'll start checking back once again.

Hey, I think I spotted a bug in the new design (or maybe its been there all along, who knows?). On your freeware icons page, you have your links mixed up. The iContainer link points to the Windows files (zip/ico), while the Windows link points to the iContainer files (I think, I don't have a .sit-compatible decompressor). I love the icons, and I think it would be in your best interest to fix the links ASAP.

LinkTiger - Good catch. It's fixed now. Evidently the links didn't make the jump to the new design that well.

looking good, Josh ... very unique and unsuspected color palette ... very glad to see some life once again here on Yellowlane ...
one thing - in IE/Win 6.0, the right-hand sidebar shifts down to the bottom of the main content ... you probably already knew that, but just in case, I thought I'd let you know.
Its really cool seeing this live redesign in progress... every time I check it, something new has appeared ... fun! :)

The short story on my current existence is that I'm a Ph.D student in philosophy at the University of Nebraska, and completely apostate by the standards of our erstwhile ITC friends. Anyway, It'd be cool to catch up sometime.
