Four days until we move, and the painter is going to town today. I shot a handful of photos yesterday of the inside of our home in all of its stark, white glory. Later today, our home will be splashed with tones of blue, yellow, pink, brown, and purple.
I know, no orange... But you see, we were going for contrast.
All that said, our painter was really pumped to get started since he seemed to be unsure if he had ever painted any home with such an assortment of colors... Seeing as how beige, tan, brown, and white are all the rage here in Texas.
So we may end of living in a bag of Skittles, but at least you can't accuse us of not being original.

You have what appears to be a beautiful home already. You're a brave man.
Joshwa says
You may be right Tomas...
I think the color will turn out very nicely. Right now the walls, ceiling, and trim are all the same bright white, so it's a tad stark.
Most of the living area will be painted in a light aqua-blue color, with the ceilings left white. Study and kitchen will be a slightly darker blue... master in yellow and brown... guest in pink.
The pink is the trickiest, but it's also the easiest room to repaint if we biff it.

We're so excited for you guys...and can't wait to see it with the paint...
Clint, if you're reading this, I hope you're bringing your A-game on Saturday--the printer alone weighs about 8,000 pounds...
(yes, I am a wuz) =^)

Only 6,000. And we Robert is the proud owner now. And seeing as how we'll probably already have the washer and dryer moved, your B-game may suffice.

Where are the rest of the pics? :)
Joshwa says
New pics with color are coming soon. Our painter has used the term "South Beach" a couple times already. : )
