Alrighty then... Still getting back into the swing of things after the move, but I took a little time to shoot a few more photos of the house. These capture a little bit more of that "moved in" feel, but I can tell you, the photos aren't half as cool as actually seeing the color in person.

We're still moving stuff in around the edges, and a few rooms still have that bare feel to them. The living room above, which is starting to fill in a little, picks up some of the "black & white on color" feel we're going for. You can see my study peeking through the door on the left.

In the bedroom, you'll see where we've picked back up the yellow tones again. Natural lighting throughout the day really causes the color to change a lot from hour to hour. It's a lot of fun to watch, but sometimes difficult to pick up in a photo. I'll keep shooting, and hopefully post some more in a day or two. Thanks for all the fun comments thus far. It's a riot to hear what everyone thinks.

It does look really nice, very unique. A lot of "nice looking" rooms, while nice, aren't as unique as your home seems to be. Which is nice. ;-)

Beautiful house, Josh. I'm sure that is very exciting! My wife and I just started looking at houses and we're going to be in for quite a bit of remodeling!

Believe me, it looks even better in person. :o) Just makes you feel all warm inside.

Your house is beautiful, Josh. Now you can begin making it a 'home.' :-) Would love to meet your lovely "Rach" sometime.... The invitation is always open.

Gorgeous! I love the color and the moulding and architecture and everything. I demand more photos.
I'm moving shortly too and your pics just inspired me to lean towards a different color palette than I was originally considering...

I've been checking your site regularly to see the progress and I had to make a comment this time. Wow! What a palette. The colors are awesome. It looks fun to live in . . . like you just can't help but smile. I look forward to the day that James and I can choose our own wall colors rather than apartment-mandated, fun-kill neutrals. The four of us need to get together some day.

stumbled on your website from deviantart and wow i must say i am inspired by the colors in these photos! i was wanting to try different colors then the boring white most often seen in homes but was afraid of the change.. but not after seeing these photos, i am gonna go run out right now and score me some yellow paint for the living room! :)
